I love my best friend; I'm a lesbian -- she's a straight girl. She's six years older than I am, but she makes my head feel light and sets butterflies free in my stomach. I wish the boy she likes could see just how beautiful she was.

Don't feel bad, I was in love with one of my best friends (a guy) for over 4 years, yet I never was able to tell him, and he never seemed to love me the same way. Then he told me one day that he was gay. I cried...sometimes, I still wish it wasn't true or that he could make an exception just this once for me.
We can't always choose love...sometimes it chooses us.

I'm a woman and I'm head over heels for my best friend, a gay boy.
I'm 10 years older than he is to top it all off and like Sometimes Love I have shed my share of tears over him and I could have written this sentence "sometimes, I still wish it wasn't true or that he could make an exception just this once for me."
It's hard because he still mentions chicks being hot, and sometimes it doesn't seem like he's quite as gay as he says he is.
As long as he's in my life, I don't think I'll be able to love anyone else, but I'm not willing to let him go yet. Hopefully I get it figured out.
Good luck to you all.

tell her how you feel!
tell her how amazing and beautiful she is!
she's your friend!, even if she didn't feel the same way about you she'd still be there for you as your friend,
youve got nothing to lose,
and possibly something amazing to gain!
