I'm am one in a trio of "best friends." One went to an entirely different school this past year, and we were only able to see her once, twice a month in person. My other friend and I hung out usually at least once or twice a week.

I alternate the two out of the number one position on my myspace. I've never been in either of their number ones. As selfish as this sounds, I thought when my friend moved, I'd truly have a "best friend."

Instead they're both at Myrtle Beach right now, while I'm here. They went together last year too. On my birthday.

She's coming back to our school next year, and I'm completely dreading it.

I feel lonely, unloved, and resentful. Will I ever be more than the sidekick?
