i've been dating my boyfriend for almost a year and a half, and even though i say that i want to be his wife and have his kids and all that, i only say the things i do about our future cuz i don't want to hurt his feelings. i've spent so much time convincing myself that eventually i'll feel as strongly about our relationship as he does, but it's not gonna happen. i love him, but i'm not "in love" with him.
i'm starting to think that i'm actually in love with my ex, and it scares me cuz i don't want to hurt my boyfriend. but whenever i go back home to visit my family, or to stay for the summer, i spend a lot of time with him and the more time i'm with him, the more i know i want to be with him...he's everything i want. my boyfriend's confronted me, but i made it look like my ex was tryin to get back with me and i don't respond.
the WORST part is that my boyfriend thinks that i'm still a virgin, but i'm not. i lost my virginity to my ex the night before i came to visit my boyfriend.

You should just be honest about your feelings for him. Things don't always work out perfectly in relationships, that's why most people don't spend their lives with their first love.
It's unfair for this to continue if you don't want it. It's unfair to your boyfriend, because it's letting him place his hopes in something you know will not happen, and it's unfair to you because you're depriving yourself of what you want out of sympathy for him.

You need to tell him the truth you will feel better. And if you are not in love with him but love him you should respect his feelings and end the relationship. It is not fair to you or him.
