since about december, i've been regularly sleeping with one of my best guy friends. not having sex, just literally sleeping.

I know that you are thinking that if he turns you down you could probably lose you're friend, but it is better that he knows now than to live wondering what if.
Chances are that he feels the same, the only guys that i have known to share a bed and not be interested are gay, and you said that hes not so go for it!

you could play it honestly and tell the guy how you feel before making a move like that. gives him a chance to make a choice and brake up with the gf. prevents you from both feeling guilty if it works out.
