Not quite as bad; my prejudice comes with a twist of compassion and a small spark of justice. Additionally, I don't perceive them as beautiful at all. They KNOW they are.

How do you know that they know they're beautiful? How do you know they're arrogant? People can't help how they look, and even if they could, should they make themselves unattractive to suit you? I say, just be kind to everyone. We all have pain and suffering in our lives. There's no need to increase it just because you have a personal grudge.

If you can't recognize a person who is conceited or arrogant, then you certainly are in NO position to recognize whether I have a "personal grudge" or not. You are quite right: People often cannot help how they look, that is all the more reason to treat the not-so-beautiful even better. You're not doing anyone a favour by taking pity on them. When you give attention to people because you believe that they are not up to par in some way, it is no better than taking pity on them; no one wants to be humored.

All it takes for someone to be beautiful is a smile; the way eyes light up, it's radiant. So for those who don’t fall under your standards of conventional beauty, don’t feel you're doing them a favour by paying attention, you're not. Guaranteed they have people there who believe they are beautiful, inside and out, even if you don’t.
