I needed to upload a video of me playing the guitar on youtube and my camera was stolen about 3 months ago, so I asked my room mate if I could borrow his. He said he didn't mind because he never used it anyway since he got back from Iraq and if I wanted I could keep it.
Well, he didn't have any tape or memory cards for it so I'd have to use some of my own. I get into my room and start to put one of my own memory cards in, and there was already one in there. I was like "Well hey, I just got a free memory card since he forgot it was in there" and proceeded to see if there was any info on there so I could erase it and use it for myself.
Um, so yeah... up until this morning I figured my room mate was totally straight because he's had girlfriends since I've known him and has started seeing this new girl, Ashley. The video tells a different story.
Here he is, completely lost in the throes of passion with another one of my friends who I thought was straight. Both guys. I'm completely speechless right now. I'm talking porno-caliber stuff. I turned it off after about 10 long seconds because it took me that long to wrap my brain around what I was seeing. The video was dated 2005 so- I dunno...
Now I feel weird around him. Not because of the gay sex, but because THAT'S JUST WEIRD to me to tape that. Why would you tape something like that to be found later by someone? Do I tell him I saw it? I feel like I need some kind of resolution on this. I got a very "just walked in on my parents" feel about the whole thing.

Think of it this way, he has never bothered you with that part of his life so that you would be comfortable and HIM. You guys arent going to be much comfortable about it unless you are gay. If you are gay and want some of that action lol then tell him, thats the only reason you should metion it. People should have their privacy. And please dont gossip about it to other people, that is so rude and hurtful.

it's probably going to dawn on him that it's missing sooner or later. Give the memory card back but don't mention that you found anything on it. Just say- hey dude you left this in the camera. I didn't have time to see what was on it but if it's nothing special can I keep it? I didn't want to take it without asking you first.
Then you look like an upstanding individual, he learns not to leave memory cards in cameras and you both get to pretend like nothing ever happened. The shock will pass for you eventually. Someday this will be one of your funniest stories to tell about 'a guy you used to know'...

How could he just forget about something like that? He must have wondered where the memory card went. I will never understand why you straight guys always freak out about that stuff. He was a nice guy before you knew he sucked dick, he'll still be a nice guy after...maybe even nicer! You apparently were not his type, anyway. Just because you have a dick doesn't mean we have to have it (although we may enjoy looking at it). Get over yourself. You are exactly the reason he feels he has to hide part of who he is.
