I'm glad we get along as adults.
But I think it's only because I have learned to act the way you want me to when I'm around you.
I wish I could be closer to you but you hated me so much when I was growing up. I cannot get over all the horrible, hurtful things you did and said to me.
I was no saint. But I was a child.
