She might actually have bacterial vaginosis if you are noticing a smell - that is just an imbalance of the bacteria that occurs naturally in the vagina. It can be treated simply and easily with antibiotics.

However, if you really hate going down on your girlfriend, then don't do it. I don't believe in doing things you aren't comfortable with just to please your partner. Just my opinion.

If you can detect a strong fishy smell, then she has an imbalance in her vagina. This is something that can be easily sorted at a pharmacy. If there is no imbalance, and you're having difficulty getting used to it, ask her if you can shave just the hair around her vulva. I do that with my girlfriend and she says that her sensitivity after being shaved is really enhanced. After she's been shaved and had a bath, you should notice a nicer smell. Otherwise, as previously noted, it could be her diet. Going down can take a bit of getting used to, but once you overcome it it can be great. Remember, this is something for your partner, not for you. Once she can see that you're doing things for her, she might make the effort.

Honestly, no matter how much a girl cleans it, it still tastes and smells kinda nasty in my experience. My advice is to either:

a) Buy some edible liquid stuff you can pour over it. You can buy it from sex shops. I got one called 'cherry pussy lick'. It makes it taste much better.

b) Do it in the shower or in the bath. It's pretty much tasteless then :D

c) Get absolutely drunk so you don't care any more :P

d) Do it so often you get used to it.
