I am going to propose to my girlfriend. I am scared to death that she will say no. She comes from a family of broken marriages and I don't think she believes in them. But I love her and want to be with her and want to spend the rest of my life with her. If she says no, I think it would kill every ounce of me.

if she says no, there is obviously a reason behind it, I bet it's something that has nothing related to you.

Do it! You love her in spite of it and are willing to take her and her history on so just do it! Be the reason that there may be hope in her life. Be the reason that can change her life...
